UCity | The Church

started in University City, Charlotte, North Carolina, with one step of faith — part of the Lake Forest Family of churches. We’re not a mega church running on systems, and you don’t have to believe before you belong here. Our vision is simple: every person meeting God, loving people, and following Jesus boldly.  FAQs

  • Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 AM at Highland Creek Elementary School at 7242 Highland Creek Parkway. You can expect to be greeted by our welcoming team, then enter our transformed gym-to-church worship space. Our service is typically 1.5 hours long. It’s friendly, encouraging and full of hope. We promise to honor your time - we know it's valuable!

  • All children ages 0-12 years old can head to UCity Kids, where they will worship, read the Bible, and have fun!

  • There is no dress code when coming to worship and being a part of UCity | The Church. Come in what's comfortable to you!
